Discussion, General Notes

• Ex-Rock Island cars of the same number.
• per B&MRRHS Modelers Notes #18,
  • several cars had the large "R" painted over
  • one car was painted B&M blue (300800)
  • one was painted Guilford/B&M White (300973)
  • Most just had "ROCK"(?) reporting marks painted over and replaced by "BM"
• I'm curious what the B&M did in 1994 to get 3 feet of extra inside height in the specific cars indicated??

For the most part, the "RI" of the reporting marks was painted over with a darker blue, and "BM" painted on that
A couple cars had the "big" "R" herald painted out, at least one car was repainted in B&M blue
